ProspectWatch

Service Purpose

ProspectWatch is for personal portfolio tracking and baseball prospect monitoring. It is not a marketplace, broker, escrow service, grading service, ownership registry, or card authentication service.

Eligibility

You must be 13 years old or older to use ProspectWatch. If you are under 18, use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.

No Advice

No investment, pricing, trading, authenticity, ownership, tax, or legal advice is provided. Any watch priority, ranking, alert, stat, or news signal is informational only.

Data Accuracy

Data may be incomplete, delayed, user-contributed, manually reviewed, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

Acceptable Use

Do not scrape, crawl, bulk copy, mirror, resell, sublicense, redistribute, bulk extract, or train models on ProspectWatch pages, signals, summaries, or datasets without written permission.

Public Baseball Context

Public baseball names, teams, leagues, stats, and card references are used only to identify public baseball context. ProspectWatch is not affiliated with MLB, MiLB, Topps, Bowman, or any team, league, marketplace, or grading company.

User Content

You are responsible for card entries, notes, checklist imports, and other information you provide. Do not upload or enter information that violates another party's rights or terms.

Data Storage and Loss

ProspectWatch does not guarantee permanent storage of watch entries, card details, labels, preferences, imported checklist data, or other user-provided information. Data may be lost, corrupted, delayed, or deleted due to bugs, maintenance, third-party service issues, account issues, security events, or service changes. You are responsible for keeping your own records and backups. Account data export is provided as a convenience, and you are responsible for saving any export you need.

Account Deletion

Account deletion requests may include a cancellation window before final deletion. Export or otherwise save any account-scoped data you want to keep before requesting or finalizing account deletion. After final deletion is processed, account-scoped data is not recoverable through ProspectWatch. Account deletion does not remove shared player, stats, ranking, news, and checklist reference data used by the service.

Limitation of Liability

ProspectWatch is not liable, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, indirect damages, or consequential damages.

Access Limits

We may limit, suspend, or block access for scraping, abuse, security risk, attempts to bypass controls, or terms violations.

Governing Law

These MVP terms use Japan as the governing law unless mandatory local consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Changes

ProspectWatch may change, pause, or discontinue features, data sources, refresh schedules, or these terms. Continued use means you accept the current terms.

Information We Collect

We may store your email address, authentication session metadata, watch entries, card tracking details, app preferences, and operational logs needed to run and protect the service.

Information We Avoid

ProspectWatch does not process payments, run trades, store shipping details, verify card ownership, or intentionally collect government IDs or financial account information.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, save watch entries, show player/card monitoring data, improve reliability, investigate abuse, and operate production checks.

Service Providers

ProspectWatch may use service providers such as Supabase for authentication/database storage, Cloudflare for hosting, and GitHub Actions for scheduled jobs and operational workflows.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not publish your private watchlist unless a future opt-in public profile feature is added and you choose to enable it.

Retention and Deletion

We keep account and watchlist data while your account is active or as needed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance. Account deletion uses a cancellation window before final deletion. Export or otherwise save any account-scoped data you want to keep before requesting or finalizing account deletion. After final deletion, account-scoped data is not recoverable through ProspectWatch.

Deleting a card, player, or account affects that account's saved data only. Shared player catalog, ranking, stats, news, and checklist reference rows remain available as service reference data. Some security, audit, and operational logs, plus service-provider backups, may remain for a limited period where needed.

Security

We use access controls, row-level security, and privileged credential separation where supported. No internet service can guarantee perfect security or permanent storage. Account data export is a convenience only, so keep your own records and backups for card entries and portfolio notes you care about.

Children

ProspectWatch is not directed to children under 13, and users must be 13 years old or older.

Jurisdiction Note

ProspectWatch is operated for MVP testing with Japan as the stated governing law in the Terms of Use.
